Topic: A Tour of Azure Kubernetes Service and How FCSAmerica Uses It
In this talk, we’ll learn how Farm Credit Services of America is leveraging AKS and Kubernetes to empower their teammates to deploy quicker and leverage cloud-native capabilities. We’ll cover how AKS works, some paradigm shifts compared to more traditional platforms, why FCSAmerica chose AKS, lessons learned during the journey, and where they’re looking next.

Speaker: Zach Brown
Zach is a Systems Engineer at Farm Credit Services of America with over 10 years of experience. Ever since installing Linux on an old laptop, Zach has been a strong believer in open-source technology and has worked on helping others to get the most out of the same technology.
Zach’s career includes designing, building, and managing modern platforms based on open-source technology wherever possible. They hold a BS in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska Omaha and several professional certifications, such as Kubernetes Certified Administrator, Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate, and Red Hat System Administrator.
