Rodney has been in the industry all his professional life focused on Microsoft Technologies.  He started with Microsoft Operating Systems in the DOS days, lived through the first version of Windows and even Windows for Workgroups, then onto something new with NT and now all versions of Windows Server through 2019. Rodney was invited to learn Active Directory in 1998 on NT 5.0 (later renamed to Windows 2000) in Redmond and went on to teach it to thousands of MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainers) and corporate customers in Redmond and around the world. He started supporting Messaging when MS Mail came on a diskette and then moved to Microsoft Exchange 4.2, through 5 and X.400, and then onto all versions of Exchange Server 2000 – 2019.  Rodney started supporting Azure/Microsoft 365 from the start. During all these years, Rodney was an active MVP for 5 years, speaker at TechEd around the world, MEC (Microsoft Exchange Conference), MSFT HQ, Tech Ready (Microsoft’s internal conference), and a tech editor of over two dozen books. Rodney has helped a global accounting/auditing firm create an Azure Landing Zone using Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF). He helped establish governance, naming standards, Azure tagging policy, Azure Policy, Azure Blueprints.  He has worked on Azure Active Directory, High Availability, and Infrastructure Traffic Manager/Application Gateway/Load Balancing all with a Security focus.
